Definition: Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is a food production and distribution system that directly connects farmers and consumers. Consumers buy "shares" in a farm's harvest in advance.
At The Garden Gate Farm, we grow a variety of vegetables that will fill your share boxes weekly. A regular season share fills a 1 1/9 bushel box and is designed to supplement the diet of a family of four. $600 total getting a box every week for 14 - 16 weeks. Mid June through September.
If a regular season share is too much for your needs, there is an option available for a 1/2 regular season share containing 1/2 of a regular share contents. $350 total getting a box every week for 14 - 16 weeks. Mid June through September.
