
The Garden Gate works with five different beef farmers. One happens to be our neighbor right across the road and two go to church with us. We work with farmers who practice organic standards. All the beef we purchase from them is either grass fed and/or grass finished. They never use growth hormones or any type of antibiotiocs.
All the beef freely range on beautiful pastures and wre with their mothers until naturally weaned off. We know each of the farmers personally and have been to all their farms. The beef is always hung at least 14 days and cooled slowly. This makes the most tender and flavorful meat.
